National Mathematics Day 2025
At Beyond Countables, we believe every achievement deserves to be celebrated—not just student success, but also the beauty of Mathematics, the Queen of Sciences. National Mathematics Day, celebrated in honour of the legendary Srinivasa Ramanujan, is one such occasion that brings together students, teachers, and mathematics enthusiasts to appreciate the joy of learning.
This year, we were privileged to have Ms. Nupur Gupta, International Group Leader – India (MAA) and Head, Centre for Mathematical Studies in Exponential Leadership, Indus Trust, India, as our guest speaker. With nearly two decades of experience across IGCSE, IB MYP, and IB Diploma programmes, she inspired our students with her passion for making mathematics meaningful, engaging, and enjoyable.
Celebrations like these reflect our commitment to nurturing curiosity, building a strong mathematical culture, and creating enriching learning experiences that extend beyond the classroom, making us one of the best math institutes.
We had multiple events categorized under three groups – Grade 6 to Grade 8, Grade 9 and Grade 10, and Grade 11 and Grade 12. Events were designed to suit the group they belong to. Grade 6 to 8 students took part in Poster making, Grade 9 and 10 students engaged themselves in Developing a mathematical story while Grade 11 and 12 students took part in Extempore.
All students took part in a creative Math song composing activity which nurtured their creativity and made the activity fun filled. Finally, all the students participated in an enriching quiz activity which they greatly appreciated as they saw the lesser-known side of mathematics and made them curious.
The event was a grand success with enthusiastic participation from students across grades enrolled in our institution. The event conducted in hybrid mode made it accessible to online students to take part in the event, extending last year’s only physical presence by great extent. Winners were announced by the Judges from internal and external institutions. They also shared their experience and the joy of taking part in such enriching yet enjoyable math event. Winners were given prizes as a token of appreciation.
