At Beyond Countables, we practice experiential learning methods to facilitate a deep understanding of complex concepts in an engaging and interactive manner. Our approach not only answers the ‘why’ behind each concept in Math but also illustrates its practical applications in real-life contexts. We believe learning should be hands-on and relevant. We use real-life examples and activities to help students connect with the material and understand its value. This approach is fruitful to students as they enjoy the learning process compared to mundane lectures and formulas forced into their brain.

Recently, our students explored the concept of circle theorems in mathematics, notoriously a challenging topic, through experiential learning. This engaging approach enabled them to grasp the concept more effectively than traditional theoretical methods. Utilizing a circular disk with board pins along the circumference, students employed rubber bands and threads to explore several properties of circles. They demonstrated the principles of circle theorems, making the concept more accessible and enjoyable. Our future plans include numerous engaging events and initiatives. We foster a collaborative learning environment where ideas are shared and strategies are developed to create engaging, interactive, and accessible learning experiences for children.

My daughter truly enjoys her time at Beyond Countables and looks forward to her evening classes. It’s much more than just a tuition centre! A heartfelt thank you to Ganesh Sir for sparking the children’s curiosity and guiding them through hands-on, experiential learning.
“Learning Maths Through Activity” is a refreshing take on making mathematics engaging and enjoyable for students.
The concept of using activities to teach maths needs patience and time for teachers. a practical approach that aligns with modern educational practices aiming to shift learning from rote memorization to experiential understanding is truly welcome.
