At Beyond Countables, the end of an academic year isn’t just about ticking off goals or celebrating scores — it’s about honouring the effort, dedication, and perseverance that went into the journey. We believe that learning is not confined to textbooks or classrooms, so we mark this moment by stepping outside, into the real world, where lessons often come from nature, experience, and each other.
This year, our excursion to beach was a part of recreational and rejoiceful activities. We indulged in the scenic presence of the sun, sand, and sea which set the perfect backdrop for a day filled with laughter, play, and discovery. We played frisbee with the carefree spirit of high schoolers, enjoyed rounds of monkey in the middle like middle school kids, and collected seashells with the curiosity of primary students. Each game reminded us that joy isn’t in winning but in the trying, in sharing the moment, and in cheering for each other.

Nature, too, had its own lessons to teach us. While tossing the frisbee, we found ourselves experimenting with how far it could go. A lively reflection followed — we realised that the angle of the throw mattered more than sheer strength. A gentle tilt and the right wrist flick made the frisbee soar gracefully over longer distances. It became a playful example of how life often works: technique, patience, and understanding your environment can take you further than force alone.
We shared personal stories, laughed over memories, and discovered new sides to each other. By sunset, we felt closer than ever — not just as fellow classmates and mentors, but as a family, bound by trust, understanding, and shared growth.
It was one of the most amazing experience to end my grade 8 mathematics with the added guidance of my tuition teacher, Ganesh Sir.
I learned everything on time and much more during my classes, feeling an otherworldly joy at the first ever 50/50 I had ever gotten on a maths exam, knowing that it was earned with hard work and a lot of extra help from Sir.
Overall, I enjoyed this semester’s classes and all the extra surprises hidden every few weeks, such as the visit to the beach, interactive games during Pi day, or even just a fun movie night.
I love the fact that Sir can easily listen and answer all my ‘why’s, ‘how’s, and other silly questions which make no sense. He is willing to repeat the explanation of a topic as many times till we get it, and has a lot of patience, which I really admire.
I am looking forward to the next semester and all the new topics I get to learn, which means even more silly questions are about to arise, thank you so much Sir!
Wonderful to see such a lively and engaging activity for your 14– 17 Year-old students at Beyond Countable. This not only brought joy but also strengthened their bonds as learners. Such moments remind us that learning is most impactful when it’s blended with laughter, playing, and sharing.
All the best for the institute team & students
